Michael McGuire, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant with extensive training and experience in orthopedics. He is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care and values clear communication and patient collaboration throughout the treatment process.

McGuire holds a Bachelor of Science in athletic training from Indiana University Bloomington and a Master of Science in exercise and sports science from Ithaca College in New York. He earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Indiana University in Indianapolis, where he completed comprehensive clinical rotations in orthopedic surgery, pediatric orthopedics, trauma surgery, emergency medicine and family medicine.

Prior to becoming a physician assistant, McGuire served as an athletic trainer at Colgate University, Methodist Sports Medicine and Indiana University Health Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. In these roles, he gained experience in injury prevention, rehabilitation and patient education, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes.

McGuire’s research background includes studies in exercise physiology, body composition analysis and clinical reviews of orthopedic conditions. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates and is dedicated to ongoing professional development. Outside of his clinical responsibilities, McGuire enjoys outdoor activities, travel, cycling and spending time with his family.
