Lori Westra, MSN, APRN, PMHNP provides psychiatric mental health care for patients of all ages. She evaluates and diagnoses conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD and grief. Treatment plans are personalized and may include medication management when appropriate. Ongoing support helps patients manage both immediate concerns and long-term mental health needs.

She earned a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) – psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Westra brings experience from school health, women’s health and community-based care, supporting a well-rounded approach to psychiatric services. She is pursuing board certification as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.

A thoughtful and collaborative approach guides each visit. Westra focuses on creating a safe and respectful environment where patients feel comfortable sharing their experiences. She works with patients and families to develop care plans that reflect individual goals and preferences, with an emphasis on education, shared decision-making and whole-person care.
