Dr. Kevin Hsu is a board-qualified podiatrist specializing in the medical and surgical treatment of the foot and ankle. His clinical interests include general podiatry, wound care, diabetic limb salvage, sports medicine and trauma. With a strong emphasis on patient education and shared decision-making, he works closely with patients to ensure they feel informed and empowered throughout their care journey.

He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. He completed a three-year residency in podiatric medicine and surgery with added credentials in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery (PMSR/RRA) at St. Mary’s and Elizabeth Medical Center in Chicago. As chief resident, he led clinical scheduling, mentored co-residents and co-managed patient care across multiple specialties while gaining extensive surgical experience.

Dr. Hsu believes health care is a team effort. “While specialists may guide treatment, the patient plays a huge role,” he said. “Education is essential to achieving long-term success.” He treats every case as a unique challenge and is passionate about developing personalized solutions that promote healing and restore mobility.

Outside of clinical work, Dr. Hsu enjoys spending time with family and friends, fishing, cooking, tackling DIY projects and following major sports. His family immigrated from Taiwan in the late 1970s, and he remains deeply connected to his cultural roots. He has also volunteered extensively with nonprofit organizations supporting underserved communities through tutoring, mentoring and enrichment programs.
