Dr. José Muñoz is a board-certified plastic surgeon and member of the American

Society of Plastic Surgeons committed to delivering personalized, evidence-based care

with an emphasis on safety, surgical excellence, and natural-appearing results.

Originally from Cuba, Dr. Muñoz immigrated to the United States as a teenager. He

earned his undergraduate degree from Swarthmore College before receiving his

medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where he was recognized

with the Humanism Scholar Award. He completed his General Surgery residency at

Thomas Jefferson University and his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at

Temple University Hospital.

Dr. Muñoz has performed more than 1,000 plastic and reconstructive procedures and

believes every patient deserves individualized care, honest communication, and

meticulous attention to detail from consultation through recovery.
