John M. Kaschke, MD, is a family medicine physician with a focus in sports medicine. He helps you stay active, recover from injuries and improve movement. Dr. Kaschke cares for you when you have acute and chronic muscle, bone and joint concerns, including sports injuries, joint pain and movement problems. His special interests include nonoperative orthopedic care, injury prevention and ultrasound-guided evaluations and treatments that support your recovery, function and safer movement.

Dr. Kaschke earned his medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois. He completed his family medicine residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri, where he served as chief resident and received the Resident of the Year Award. He went on to complete a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, where he gained advanced training in diagnosing and treating orthopedic and sports-related injuries and helping you recover without surgery when appropriate.

In each visit, Dr. Kaschke takes time to listen, understand your goals and help you feel comfortable with your care plan. He works with you to find practical steps that support healing, improve function and help prevent future injuries. Whether you are managing joint pain, recovering from a sports injury or trying to stay active, his goal is to help you feel informed, supported and confident as you move forward.
