Dr. Jessica Prange is a board-certified non-invasive cardiologist dedicated to providing exceptional patient-centered care. She specializes in cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology, and echocardiography, emphasizing early detection and minimally invasive procedures to improve heart health and overall well-being. 

She is board-certified by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology and the National Board of Echocardiography. A fellow of the American College of Cardiology, she remains dedicated to evidence-based, patient-focused cardiac care.

Dr. Prange is skilled in interpreting non-invasive cardiovascular imaging, including stress testing, echocardiography, and nuclear studies. She performs transesophageal echocardiograms, electrical cardioversions, and implantable loop recorder procedures. Her expertise extends to both inpatient and outpatient cardiology, ensuring comprehensive care for her patients. 

Not only is Dr. Prange an esteemed member of Prairie Cardiovascular but she serves as the medical director of echocardiography at St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham, Illinois. She has also held leadership positions, including chair of medicine and executive committee member at St. Anthony’s, demonstrating her commitment to advancing cardiovascular care. 

Dr. Prange earned her Doctor of Medicine from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, in Springfield, Illinois. She completed her internal medicine residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and a cardiovascular disease fellowship at St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Prange was raised in Litchfield, Illinois, and she has stayed in the Midwest where she grew up, was educated and can give back to the community.
