In family practice, Heather Ackerman believes educating her patients is an essential part of helping them be healthy, “If you understand what is going on with your body treatment is easier.” Heather enjoys connecting well with patients of all ages. While family medicine is her specialty, she also has a background in neuroscience. 

Outside of work, Heather enjoys camping and the outdoors, spending time with her family, and serving in her community.
