About Erbert Caceres

About The Provider

Dr. Erbert Caceres provides advanced cardiovascular and vascular care with expertise in interventional cardiology, endovascular medicine and peripheral vascular disease. He treats coronary artery disease, complex circulatory conditions and abdominal aortic aneurysms using minimally invasive catheter-based therapies, including trans radial coronary interventions and endovascular aneurysm repair. His focus is restoring blood flow, reducing symptoms and improving long-term heart and vascular health.

Before joining Prairie in 2019, Dr. Caceres established the first trans radial coronary intervention program in northern Illinois and developed a hospital-based peripheral interventional program. He also created a noninvasive vascular laboratory to expand diagnostic services and improve coordinated vascular care. An early adopter of trans radial access and percutaneous aneurysm repair, Caceres has contributed to advancements in procedural safety and recovery.

Caceres is board certified in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, endovascular medicine and vascular medicine, and is a registered physician in vascular interpretation. He approaches care with a whole-patient perspective, taking time to explain conditions, review treatment options and outline practical next steps. His goal is to deliver precise procedural care while prioritizing overall health and long-term outcomes.
