Dr. David Hooman Shervin is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who focuses on hip and knee replacement surgery, including both primary and revision procedures. He also treats adult hip and knee conditions without surgery and cares for lower extremity fractures. Dr. Shervin uses advanced surgical techniques and the latest implant technology to help patients recover quickly and achieve lasting results.

He believes in compassionate, patient-centered care. Dr. Shervin listens to each patient’s concerns and works with them to create a treatment plan that fits their needs and goals. Dr. Shervin earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. He completed his residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois, and his fellowship in adult joint reconstruction at the University of Chicago in Chicago. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.

Dr. Shervin and his wife support charities for rare childhood disorders and help their local crisis nursery. His father and sister, both physicians, inspired him by showing the impact compassionate care can have on patients and families. He values family and enjoys time with loved ones, staying active, cooking and following car and motorcycle racing.
