Michelle Zhang, MD, provides general surgery care with a focus on minimally invasive and robotic techniques. If you need hernia repair, gallbladder surgery, appendix surgery or breast surgery, Dr. Zhang can help. She also cares for patients with benign breast conditions and breast cancer, using advanced surgical approaches designed to support faster recovery and better outcomes.

Dr. Zhang earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine, in Chicago, and her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in biology from Washington University in St. Louis. She completed her general surgery residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska, where she also conducted research in surgical oncology and advanced cancer treatment. She is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Breast Surgeons. Dr. Zhang is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.
