Christina "Chrissy" Kelley, PA-C, is a physician assistant specializing in general surgery. She assists with a wide variety of procedures, from hernia repairs and gallbladder removal to breast cancer surgeries such as lumpectomies and mastectomies, using robotic, laparoscopic and open approaches. Kelley also manages your care before and after surgery, guiding you through recovery, postoperative healing and discharge planning. Her hands-on approach means she is with you in the operating room and at the bedside throughout your surgical experience.

Kelley earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in health science from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri, and a Master of Medical Science (MMS) in physician assistant studies from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois. She is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and brings more than eight years of hands-on clinical experience, including extensive time in the operating room. This depth of surgical training supports the skilled, attentive care she provides at every stage of your procedure.

Originally from Springfield, Illinois, Kelley is returning home to care for the community where she grew up. She takes time to build a relationship with each patient, answer your questions and explain your treatment options so you can make the best decisions for your health. Whether she is preparing you for surgery or checking on your recovery, her goal is to make sure you feel informed, supported and confident in your care.
