Ham earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in biomedical science from Brigham Young University-Idaho in Rexburg, Idaho, and a Master of Science (MS) in physician assistant studies from Sullivan University in Louisville, Kentucky. He completed clinical training in cardiology and holds Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification. Ham also speaks Spanish.
