Brendan Dinga, PA-C, is a dedicated physician assistant specializing in general cardiology. He earned his Master of Science in physician assistant studies from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois, and graduated cum laude from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois, with a Bachelor of Science in physiology and a minor in chemistry. Brendan’s clinical training included rotations in acute care, emergency medicine, general surgery, internal medicine, orthopedics and cardiology, providing him with a strong foundation in patient-centered care and evidence-based medicine.

Dinga is passionate about cardiovascular health, with special interests in the prevention, diagnosis and management of conditions such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, coronary artery disease and heart failure. He enjoys educating patients about diagnostic tests, including echocardiograms and cardiac stress tests. He is committed to empowering individuals to take an active role in their health. Dinga’s approach emphasizes risk factor management, medication management and chronic disease care.

Community involvement is important to Dinga. During his training, he participated in local outreach events, providing free blood pressure screenings and health education at farmers markets. He looks forward to continuing to serve and connect with the community throughout his career.

Dinga comes from a family of health care professionals and is inspired by their dedication to patient care. Outside of medicine, he enjoys watching and playing sports, especially baseball and hockey, and is an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Blues fan. He also enjoys golfing with friends and working on his cars and trucks. Dinga believes that building strong patient-provider relationships and prioritizing health education are essential to delivering quality care.
