About The Provider
Arti Singh, MD, MS, is a board-certified noninvasive cardiologist and imaging specialist dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered cardiovascular care. Dr. Singh earned her Doctor of Medicine from Saba University School of Medicine in Saba, Netherlands, a Master of Science in distributed systems from DePaul University in Chicago, and a Bachelor of Science in computer science from Loyola University in Chicago. She completed her internal medicine residency at Bridgeport Hospital, Yale New Haven Health Systems in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and her cardiovascular disease fellowship at Beaumont Hospital – Oakwood Campus in Dearborn, Michigan.
Board certified in cardiovascular medicine, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and cardiovascular computed tomography, Dr. Singh is highly skilled in advanced cardiac imaging, vascular ultrasound and diagnostic coronary angiography. She is experienced in performing and interpreting a wide range of cardiovascular tests, including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, cardiac PET and SPECT imaging, and cardiac CT.
Passionate about advancing women’s heart health, Dr. Singh was instrumental in creating the first Women’s Heart Program at the Cardiovascular Institute of the South in Lafayette, Louisiana, and developed educational symposiums and community screenings focused on heart and vascular disease in women. She has served as an attending physician at multiple hospitals and as a clinical associate professor of medicine at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.
An active researcher, Dr. Singh has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national conferences, with research interests including predictors of heart failure readmission and innovative approaches in cardiac imaging. Dr. Singh is fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi, and enjoys amateur astronomy, meditation and biking in her free time.
