Dr. Andres Lerner is a board-certified hand surgeon specializing in the comprehensive treatment of conditions affecting the hand, wrist, and upper extremities. With advanced training in both plastic and orthopedic surgery techniques, Dr. Lerner provides expert surgical and non-surgical care to help patients restore function and return to their daily activities.

Dr. Lerner earned his medical degree from Maimonides University and completed his residency in General Surgery. He then pursued an intensive fellowship in Hand and Microvascular Surgery at the University of California San Francisco, where he received specialized training that uniquely combines plastic and orthopedic surgery approaches.

Early in his career, Dr. Lerner specialized in minimally invasive procedures for arthritis and nerve pathologies, including carpal tunnel syndrome. He continues to provide this expertise while expanding his practice to include the treatment of traumatic injuries of the upper extremities, such as fractures, neurovascular injuries, and tendon and ligament injuries. This comprehensive skill set allows Dr. Lerner to address both acute and chronic conditions with precision and care.
