Alyssa McMillen was drawn to cardiology early in her nursing career after encountering patients with heart conditions. The experience sparked her eagerness to learn more about the field. She enjoys working with patients at various stages of their health journey, helping them improve their quality of life, prevent future complications and save lives. She believes in a philosophy of treating the whole patient, not just a condition.

McMillen is very active in the community with volunteering through healthcare education and supporting other local initiatives. She enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs.
