He pursued specialized training in cardiovascular disease at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wis., followed by an advanced fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. His expertise includes catheter ablation, Pacemaker, ICD implantation and extraction, left atrial appendage closure device (Watchman) implantation and antiarrhythmic drug therapy to optimize heart rhythm management.
Dr. Ahmad has published in peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of the American College of Cardiology and Journal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology. He has also presented at national cardiology conferences, contributing to advancements in the field.
Dr. Ahmad is board-certified in clinical cardiac electrophysiology, cardiovascular disease, internal medicine, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, and cardiovascular computed tomography (CT). He integrates the latest technological innovations with a patient-centered approach, ensuring personalized and effective treatment strategies.
