Dr. George Berberian is a revered cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon with extensive experience in patient care, research, and medical education. Board-certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, he has dedicated his career to advancing surgical techniques and improving outcomes for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. 

Dr. Berberian earned his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine in New York, where he also completed his surgical internship and residency. He pursued specialized training through a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J. and an advanced fellowship in mitral valve repair at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. 

Dr. Berberian's research has focused on biventricular pacing, perioperative cardiac output optimization, and minimally invasive cardiac surgery. His work has been published in leading medical journals, and he has presented at international conferences, earning accolades from the International Society of Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery. 

A fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an active member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, Dr. Berberian remains committed to innovation in cardiothoracic surgery while prioritizing compassionate, patient-centered care.
