His educational background includes a neurotrauma and spine fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle, a neurosurgery residency at the University of Ottawa, Ontario, and additional training in critical care medicine and clinical epidemiology at the University of Toronto. Dr. Alali earned his medical degree from King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and PhD from the University of Toronto. This diverse training has given him a broad perspective and a strong foundation in both the science and art of medicine.
Dr. Alali is a fellow of several leading neurosurgical organizations and is committed to lifelong learning. He regularly volunteers his expertise to provide free telehealth neurosurgery consultations for underserved patients in rural areas, working to expand access to specialized care. Outside of medicine, Dr. Alali enjoys spending time with his family and values the balance and perspective they bring to his life.
